About
Where administration, education and technology meet
I am Administrator at Samastha E-Learning, the digital wing of the Samastha Kerala Islam Matha Vidyabhyasa Board (SKIMVB). It is a permanent position, and it puts me in the middle of how a network of more than 11,000 madrasas learns, teaches and organises itself.
Much of my day goes into three things: writing the proposals, reports and operating manuals that institutions depend on; building web systems that replace scattered spreadsheets and paperwork; and presenting at training sessions, including on how AI fits into religious education.
I work in Malayalam, English and the mix of both that most of us speak. Institutional documents are written in clear Malayalam first, because the people who use them should not need a translator.

Proposals and programmes to bring a network of more than 11,000 madrasas onto shared digital systems.
